  I hope customers that come to our business understand that when you get a half or whole beef, especially from a farmer, you need to ask what they feed it! What they are fed is how good or not good its going to taste! We do our beef 90% lean. If you want leaner then that then you must ask. We go out of our way to please our customers as best as we can. We do have rules that we have to follow so we can't always please everyone. Now if you're going to be rude and ignorant towards us we will ask you to leave as we have work to do. And yes the BUTCHER is a WOMAN! Julie is the butcher. Now all these rude comments are from people who we don't even recognize. If you were a one time customer and you're just used to something else that's fine. I happen to love our meat. I WILL NOT eat anything else. Thank you everyone who reads this! I love the work, and I love our friendly customers! Especially our deer hunters, I love deer season!

  The people are very friendly, but by far the worst meat ever purchased from a meat locker. We have purchased whole and half cows for the last 15 years and decided to try a locker closer to home. This meat was double the price at average $9/lb and the fattiest I have ever seen. We usually get half of our ground beef at 85% and half at 90%. This has to be no better than 80%. The steaks are half fat half meat. We tried their steaks from their refrigerator in the front of their store first to make sure we liked the quality. We were satisfied with the T-bones we tried, but are so dissatisfied with all the cuts we ordered. We have a half to go through and will certainly return to our original locker. It is worth the drive to Chadwick. I would not recommend them and will certainly not return.
